The presented graphics constitute a concise visual message about the relationship between humans and animals, domination, and the boundaries between tradition and violence. It is an attempt to translate a very specific social problem into a concise visual message, formally simple yet emotionally ambiguous.
The project explores the appropriation of common space and the impact of hunting on a sense of security, portraying the forest as a danger zone where violence is normalized.
The exhibition accompanies the citizens' legislative initiative "WARNING! HUNTING. Let's change hunting law. For good." and supports calls for changes to the law. Among the main goals are increasing the distance of hunting from buildings, limiting nighttime and commercial hunting, increasing transparency of hunters' activities, and providing the public with a real say in decisions related to wildlife management.
