To make the most of the event, make sure to plan your visits ahead of time. Select your points of interest and hit your museum trail at 5 p.m. This will allow you to beat the crowds and avoid the queues that inevitably build up around 9 or 10 p.m. In recent years, waiting times of up to an hour have been reported!

Take the chance to visit the museums you haven't explored in a while or have never visited. The majority of them have changed significantly, always for the better. For instance, the Poznań City Hall has recently comprehensively renovated its lower floors, allowing access to Gothic cellars that had been closed to the public for over 25 years.

Make sure to visit the Applied Arts Museum on Wzgórze Przemysła (Przemysł Hill). Their modern display is simply captivating. This applies in particular to the ongoing exhibition of silver items from the National Defence Fund, which is sure to pique everyone's interest. Over at the National Museum, you will be treated to the exhibition named "Ultra-avant-garde. Koło Klipsa and Poznań's Underground Scene of the 1980s". Among its accompanying events is a template cutting and T-shirt painting workshop led by rock artist Grzegorz "Patyczak" Kmita at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. While there, make sure to check out the museum's all new café and automated shop.

The Archaeological Museum promises an enchanting night themed around "The Ancient World of Herodotus." In the picturesque Górka Palace courtyard, expect performances by the Hellas et Roma association, showcasing an ancient Carthage soldier and a Greek warrior from 5th century BC. The Genius loci Archaeological Reserve will host a camp of early medieval warriors.

Meanwhile, the Poznań Society of Friends of Sciences will be showcasing natural history exhibits collected since 1857. The Poznań Fotoplastykon will have a meet & greet with Adam Szklarek, a photographer and adventurer, known for his work for the exhibition "Between Gods and Demons: The Magical Island of Bali". At the Fotoplastykon Workshop, you will be treated to a presentation of archival photos from the Wilda district of Poznań.

Special Museum Night treats will await you not just in Poznań's museums, but also in other cultural institutions such as the Zamek (Castle) Cultural Centre, the Enigma Cipher Centre, Raczyński Library, and Porta Posnania. You can also explore the newly refurbished Arsenał Municipal Gallery but remember to book your visit ahead of time.

According to Estrada Poznańska, most events will kick off at 5 p.m. and run until either midnight or 1 a.m. Admission to museums and other venues will be free, although some places may charge a token price of 1 or 2 zlotys.
