This year's series kicks off on 3 July with Krzysztof Lukas, professor at the Katowice Academy of Music, where he heads the organ department. On 10 July, the spotlight falls on Domenico Tagliente, well-known for his live organ improvisations to silent films such as "The Phantom of the Opera" by Rupert Julian. He also blends organ and live electronics, improvising at contemporary music festivals. Then on 17 July, it is the turn of Ewelina Bachul whose interests lean heavily into a Romantic and contemporary organ repertoire. One week later, on 24 July, we will hear from Wiktor Brzuchacz (organ) and Róża Lorenc (violin), one of Poland's most active performance duos. Their concerts range from solo pieces to chamber arrangements, including original takes on works for violin and organ. Rounding off the month on 31 July is Witold Zalewski, known for playing the organ during liturgies celebrated by Pope John Paul II during his pilgrimages.

These organ concerts will fill the Poznań Fara every Thursday at 7:30pm, and admission is free.
