In mid-February, the Wielki Theatre will present 4: Pastor / León & Lightfoot / Bondara, a ballet production shaped by the vision of four acclaimed choreographers, whose names are featured in the event's title.

The performance unfolds in four parts. The first, Moving Rooms, was choreographed by Krzysztof Pastor in 2008 for the Dutch National Ballet. The second and third pieces, Shutters Shut and Subject to Change, were created by the duo Sol León and Paul Lightfoot, inspired by a poem by Gertrude Stein and the emotional impact the pair experienced during a friend's sudden illness. The final segment, Bolero, was choreographed by Robert Bondara, the ballet director of Poznań's Wielki Theatre. The production is set to music by Schnittke, Górecki, Schubert, and Ravel.
