The slogan of the upcoming artistic season in the Poznań Philharmonic is this quote from Ludwig van Beethoven: "Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy."

At times, female artists link up with male artists, not only professionally. Numerous examples of such couples can be found throughout art history. Sadly, many women in such relationships had to wait until contemporary times to emerge from the shadows of their famous husbands and be recognised by contemporary critics and art lovers. One example of such an artist is Sophie Taeuber-Arp.

This latest exhibition at the Poznań Fotoplastykon will transport you through time, offering insights into the way Poznań has changed over the last 150 years.

The September lineup features Andrzej Jagodziński performing Komeda's music, Kuba Płużek and the much-trumpeted joint project of the Kroke trio and Urna Chahar. In the following months, prepare to see Kuba Więcek, Urbaniak in tandem with Karolak, as well as Greg Osby and Mike Stern. The autumn season at the Blue Note is looking to be scorching hot!
