The seventh edition of the "For Women, by Women" campaign is around the corner. No charity gala would be complete without a unique concert. This time around, the first lady of Polish jazz, Ewa Bem, known for such hits as Moje serce to jest muzyk (My Heart is a Musician), Pomidory (Tomatoes) or Daj mi znak (Give Me a Sign), is set to appear in Adam Mickiewicz University Auditorium.

Therefore we've set ourselves the goal of breaking this stereotype, overcoming winter's bad image and demonstrating it is a chance to indulge in a bit of craziness and pursue off-the-wall ideas and plans. We want to convince Poznanians and tourists alike that winter is the time to be active, even when frost is biting. It can also be a time for culture, meeting interesting people and exploring thrilling locations. We have prepared a dozen or so exciting ideas and warming activities for you. Nearly 500 documentary films from 64 countries have been submitted to the 25th edition. The jury ended up selecting 31 documentaries from 14 countries in two categories: short and feature film, among them an astounding 11 productions from Poland. Each of their makers trained their camera on the nightmares and dreams that preoccupy people in the second decade of the 21st century. The Off Cinema International Documentary Film Festival is set to kick off on 19 October in the Zamek (Castle) Cultural Centre.
