On November 11th, 2025, let us all meet in Poznań for St Martin Street Name Day! Since 1994, ZAMEK Culture Centre has celebrated that day, combining Independence Day festivities with the local St Martin's tradition. The symbols of this day include St Martin, patron saint of the city's main street, and the St Martin's croissant, a sweet treat filled with white poppy seeds, dried fruit and nuts. It has been baked in Poznań for over 150 years, lending the celebrations of November 11th in Poznań a unique local flavour and became a symbol of the city.
