The New Year's Concert on 1 January at 6pm promises to be a delight with Magdalena Stefaniak, soprano, alongside the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Adam Banaszak. Brace yourself for an evening with excerpts from renowned operas, operettas, musicals, and hits from the Danube country. Or mark your calendar for 5 January at 7pm for the Carnival Concert featuring more from the same line-up of musicians and more of the same music.

On January 12 at 7pm, prepare for a night with "21st Century Artists". Join Bartłomiej Nizioł on the violin, Anastasia Kobekina on the cello, and the Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Marek Pijarowski. The programme boasts compositions by Józef Elsner, Feliks Janiewicz, and Johannes Brahms.

Fast forward to 19 January at 7pm for the Vivat Haydn! concert. Jakub Kaszuba on the oboe and the Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Paul McCreesh, will appear with a programme that includes Haydn's CIV London Symphony in D major and Military Symphony in G major.

Finally, don't let January slip away without catching An American in Paris concert on the last Friday of the month, on 26 January, at 7pm. Featuring Hayoung Choi on the cello and the Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Łukasz Borowicz, the event will showcase compositions by Józef Elsner, Joseph Haydn, Bohuslav Martinů and, of course, George Gershwin. All of the above concerts will take place in the Adam Mickiewicz University Auditorium.
