This "technically unrivalled" artist known for "the energy of a nuclear reactor" has the ability to "put an instant spell on his audiences".

In the upcoming Poznań concert, Powell will showcase the popular piano composition Polish Fantasy in G sharp minor, Op. 19, by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, in an arrangement by Jakub Kowalewski, and Concerto No. 2 in G minor by Francesco Durante, culminating with the WAB 112 String Quintet in F major by Anton Bruckner, often likened to epochal works by Ludwig van Beethoven. The line-up includes Jonathan Powell on the piano and the Polish Radio Amadeus Chamber Orchestra conducted by Anna Duczmal-Mróz.
