Francesca Tandoi

Klub Blue Note may have only one concert in January, but it's sure to be remarkable. On the last Sunday of the month, Francesca Tandoi - an Italian jazz pianist and vocalist - will take to the stage. Widely regarded by critics as an emerging star of European jazz and one of the most captivating young talents on today's international jazz scene, Francesca will be joined by Matheus Nicolaievsky on double bass and Sander Smeets on drums.

Tandoi has gained worldwide recognition in just a few years. She has performed alongside many distinguished international jazz stars and showcased her music at prestigious events such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz, Cork Jazz, and Breda Jazz Festival, making appearances in locations throughout the globe.

Her albums, including Something Blue  (2014) and When in Rome  (2022), have been favourably received. Her latest release is last year's Bop Web. As esteemed musician Monty Alexander has remarked in his often-quoted statement: "Francesca Tandoi is a remarkable pianist, her vocals are superb, her compositions: melodic and memorable."
