The organisers' selling points for this fifth edition are open air, a welcoming family atmosphere and amazing music. Since the festival falls during the holiday season in early July, we are announcing it well in advance so that everyone can include it in their plans. The festival boasts many advantages, including its proximity to Poznań, its summer season timing and, just as importantly, an appealing programme that is sure to attract a large audience once again. There is a unique charm to open-air holiday events, where the unpretentious ambiance often surpasses what occurs on stage. Thankfully, in the case of Baranowo, regardless of other circumstances, it is the music, and good music at that, that will take centre stage.
On the first day, fans of guitar music can eagerly await Voo Voo and Muchy. Wojciech Waglewski and his companions gave an amazing concert at the Tama Club just a few weeks ago. Now, their music will resound under the July sky. Muchy, on the other hand, are about to embark on a hiatus lasting over a dozen months. Don't miss this chance to hear them again before their break. Friday's line-up will also satisfy fans of R&B, electronic, hip-hop, and pop music, featuring Rosalie, Ciao Bambino! (a special project by Vito Bambino of Bitamina), Grubson, Igo, as well as Ars Latrans Orchestra and Ignacy.
The second day brings a host of captivating performances by esteemed vocalists from several generations who have been attracting audiences for years. Among them are Anita Lipnicka, Natalia Grosiak with the band Micromusic, Bela Komoszyńska and Sorry Boys, as well as Jucho and Paula Roma. Also to perform at Lake Kierskie is Smolik & Kev Fox and The Cassino. The highlight of the day will be Ralph Kaminski, one of the country's most popular performers at the moment.
As previously mentioned, the Edison Festival is set to take place in the scenic surroundings of Baranowo on the shores of Lake Kierskie. As it is only about a dozen kilometres from the heart of Poznań, the organisers suggest that the public travel there by bike or public transport.
