The Balinese people inhabit a handful of bustling metropolitan hubs and countless charming small settlements dotting the island. Local markets burst with colour and aromatic delights. Seekers of solace find respite and reflection in the allure of Oriental architecture. Life on the island beats to the rhythm of religion, evident in its twenty thousand-plus temples and the daily rituals of the Balinese people, earning it the well-deserved name of Island of the Gods.

The exhibition aims to transport visitors into a magical realm of perpetual sunshine, lush greenery that envelops buildings, and impressive exotic plants beyond those anywhere else. It offers everything you might expect when being close to the equator. A whiff of incense mixes with the aroma of exotic spices, and amidst thick vines, an unmistakeable aura of magic and mystery pervades...

In true Hollywood style, although based on facts, all events, names, and situations are fictitious to protect the characters.

Agnieszka Spiechowicz is a graphic designer, Polish philologist, and author of numerous guidebooks. She is a silent observer of the world known to enjoy long hikes through the untamed Beskidy mountains and ice hole bathing. She likes to be able to identify the plants she finds along the trails. A traveller to offbeat sites, she also appreciates places much closer to home. To finish her current book, she regularly stays up late into the night only to kick back during the day. At her job, she blends technology with humanities, helping folks to achieve their dream travels.

Adam Szklarek is a camera operator, photographer, drone maker, sound engineer, and carpenter. He has co-authored a number of documentaries, large and small, and conducted workshops for children (one of them as far as Africa). He is a co-founder (visually) of the Sięgnij Nieba foundation. He is no stranger to travelling, although not exactly a pro traveller. And, might I mention, he once braved a mid-winter dip in the Baltic.
