The Poznań Fortress Days, which will take place as usual on the last weekend of the summer holidays, August 29-30, 2026, are an excellent opportunity to explore and visit various sites. It's worth doing so, as it will demonstrate that forts and bunkers, with a little effort, are open to visitors year-round.
This year's event will feature over 20 fortress structures. The program of events is being curated by enthusiasts and experts. Admission to most sites will be free, and visitors will enjoy numerous attractions: guided tours with flashlights, presentations of temporary exhibitions, displays of military equipment and weapons, and demonstrations of military formations from various eras.
