Exhibition: What If Goat Was One Of Us? by Delfina Tlałka
The exhibition "WHAT IF GOAT WAS ONE OF US?" universalizes the experience of being transgender, providing an impetus for thinking about transformation as a fundamental principle of existence. It is a gesture of recognizing Otherness as an organic part of the Whole; a dynamic that drives evolution.
Delfina Tlałka extends her poetry into space. She intertwines sounds, painted objects, and metaphorical self-portraits. She employs iconography and symbolism, yet subverts established meanings, queering visual orders and concepts. She combines the body with ornament, the mythological with the religious. She allows for both expansion and broken lines.
Creating performances at the intersection of fairy tales, illustrations from old books, and tarot cards, she speaks not of fantasy but of reality, the desired one.
