Agata Przyżycka's painting intertwines several parallel realms: corporeal concreteness and dreamlike abstraction, photographic recording and visual imagination, the biological viscosity of matter, and the rigor of formal composition. The exhibition's title-drawn from the poetry of Halina Poświatowska-defines its tone and interpretive direction. It indicates that for both the poet and the painter, sensuality remains the overarching category, and the painting or poem becomes a space for an intense, corporeal experience of the world.
