Description
Mojżesz Kisling was among the foremost representatives of École de Paris, a milieu uniting artist of Jewish descent arriving from Central and Eastern Europe. During his life spanning only 62 years, Kisling created thousands of works: portraits, nudes, landscapes, still lifes and floral compositions. The exhibition features 38 of his paintings alongside 26 works by other distinguished Montparnasse artists, among them Amedeo Modigliani, Jules Pascin, Mela Muter, Szymon Mondschein, Tamara Łempicka, Jean Cocteau, and Józef Pankiewicz.
