Zawierucha is a project initiated by Piotr Zgorzelski, who for years has been passionately exploring traditional Polish dance culture and putting it into practice without compromising the essence of what in our part of the world is the relationship between movement and music. The dancer invited Marcin Drabik and Kacper Malisz - violinists committed to the renaissance of rural tradition as much as to bold artistic experiments - to join the band. They were also accompanied by the versatile percussionist Kamil Siciak and the contrabassist and composer Michał Aftyka.
