OFF Opera is a music festival that documents everyday life and serves as a meeting place for diverse groups, communities, and subcultures, as well as an opportunity for the collective creation and stage presentation of lyrics and music.

In the 12th edition of OFF Opera, we will take a close look at our relationship with our phones. We'll sift through text messages and call logs, reminisce about faxes and phone booths, laugh at messages garbled by T9 predictive text, and discuss social media addiction and the culture of constant availability. We'll create music videos, songs, and ringtones, play the cult classic game Snake, and spend time together offline. We'll have fun and dance to the music of the 80s and 90s, all while remembering that art always begins with an encounter.
