Huge support for the Poznan Fan Zone

To date (20th June) over 445 thousand people have visited the Poznan Fan Zone to experience the UEFA EURO 2012 ™. This is almost the same number that was forecast to scroll through Freedom Square during the ENTIRE tournament. Since the start of the championships, the Fan Zone has been a sporting and cultural centre of our region. However, now we're working our way up to the big event - the GRAND FINAL, the semi and quarter finals all of which will take place over the next 11 days together with over 140 hours of emotion, fun and entertainment ahead of us.

Tonight on the pitch in the Poznan stadium on Bulgarska street, the teams from Italy and Ireland will play against one another - who will the goat go for?
Come&Join Competition Winners

From 9th to 11th June a group of Croatian and Irish fans were guests in Poznan. They have won the Come&Join competition organized by the City Promotion Department. In the competition the contestants had to make a short film about kicking the ball in the direction of Poznan.

Almost 500 volunteers worked yesterday in Poznan. The Irish fans were very fond of the light Green outfits that were slightly similar to the national colours of the Green Island. The incomers were informed at the airport or train station where to get advice.
