Our Children's Art Festival
Description
Our Children's Art Festival has been organised by the teachers of Poznań's Special School Complex # 105 since 2000. Since 2007, the Festival has been additionally co-organised by the Trwanie (Enduring) Association of the School's students, graduates and their families.
The festival reviews the artistic creativity of children and adolescents with various disabilities (motoric and mental as well as sight and hearing impairments). It reaches out to institutions of special and integrational education and training in and around Poznań. The festival is an excellent opportunity to share the difficult experience of working with handicapped artists on a daily basis. It is also a chance for young volunteers to come into direct contact with people with disabilities.
