Integrations World Folklore Review
Description
The Integrations World Folklore Review is an international festival organised yearly by Poznań's E. Piasecki Academy of Physical Education since 2001.
During their week-long stay in Poland, participating bands perform in four cities of the Wielkopolska Region. Over the years, the festival has visited more than a dozen such cities, including Poznań. It has hosted bands from a dozen plus European countries, with more than 300 dancers and musicians arriving for each edition. The participating bands tend to have good fun. The festival is not competitive. Its only award, and one that is also the most coveted, is conferred by the audience. Its members vote for their favourites during each concert. The votes are carefully tallied, their results announced during the "Music in World Folklore" Finale Concert.
