The Festival aims to highlight Conrad Drzewiecki, the outstanding Polish choreographer and founder of the Polish Dance Theatre - Poznań Ballet, and to showcase the teacher and his teaching methods, and his choreographic work. Promoting the contemporary dance style Conrad Drzewiecki, which emerged in the 1970s, is both an inspiration and an original way to create opportunities for free movement in current techniques and new dance styles.
In 2025, the main event is Conrad Drzewiecki's choreography for the ballet "Les Biches," set to music by Francis Poulenc. The electric concert, alongside choreographies prepared by individual schools, will feature a performance of an excerpt from this work performed by all Festival participants. The reconstruction was handled by Conrad Drzewiecki's longtime assistant, dancer and choreographer Mirosław Różalski.
