The Hibike Chamber Choir is an all-female ensemble formed 10 years ago at the initiative of its conductor, Katarzyna Jaskólecka, in Poznań. The choir members are passionate women who love Japanese singing and culture. Hibike's repertoire (Japanese for "sound out") consists almost entirely of works by Japanese composers. Why? We want to showcase the beauty of Japanese art and language - what captivated us about the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun. We've prepared traditional Japanese melodies and pieces from anime!
At the concert funds will be raised for the Yasna Izba Social Workshop!
