Qadir Jhatial's exhibition is the result of his artist residency at the ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań.
The works on display offer an intimate observation of the relationship between humans and the river, rooted in the artist's sensitive contemplation of nature. The starting point lies in two distant landscapes: the Greater Poland region with the Warta River, and the Sindh province in Pakistan with the Indus River. Jhatial juxtaposes these settings, seeking parallels in how water shapes the landscape, sustains life, and preserves memory.
