There is a village where the air is frozen. There is a village where silence lasts continuously: you can not hear the buzzing of flies nor the wind moving the ears of grain in the fields, nor an approaching cart...
There is a village where are no children, no cow has calved for years, no hen has laid eggs. The mechanism of birth and death has been suspended. New families do not form. Half the houses are empty because only the strongest remain here. And none of the residents are normal.
Will Zuni and Sitka's wedding, prepared with great pomp, break this reign of silence, revive the local community and end the dead season with the traditional "...and they lived happily ever after"?
Or maybe the approaching apocalypse can no longer be stopped?
One thing is certain - an uninvited wedding guest is approaching: evil.
