The guiding theme of the 32nd Malta Festival Poznań is Świat w uścisku / World Held Tight / СТИСНУТИЙ СВІТ. To hold tight offers, on the one hand, the potential of closeness, sensitivity, care, understanding and solidarity. But it may also evoke a sense of abuse and oppression. A world in a tight hold is also a world in a trap where a safe space for living is shrinking.
