Republika Sztuki Tłusta Langusta (The Fat Langouste Republic Of Art) is a cultural venue set in the very heart of the city. This initiative-welcoming, meeting-fostering institution happily accommodates all forms of art, even the unusual. Tłusta Langusta is run by artists associated with the Usta Usta Republika Theatre, who for many years have focused on artistic discovery and the revival of "very non-theatrical places".
The Fat Langouste Republic of Art is the place to visit to commune with art, to breathe, admire, discuss and create it, and be touched by it deeply. Artists enjoy the use of 300 sq. m of space on three separate floors. Each room differs in nature and atmosphere, each can readily accommodate small-scale performances, concerts, performing arts, artistic installations, photo shoots, debates, workshops and studio work.
